Pasadena Pro Musica celebrates the return of soprano Julia Metzler to Southern California by featuring her in Benjamin Britten’s Cabaret Songs and Henry Purcell’s Orpheus Britannicus.
The program will include the chorus performing Britten’s Lift Boy, I Lov’d a Lass, Choral Dances from Gloriana, Rejoice in the Lamb, and Hymn to St. Cecilia.
Accompanists will be Alan Geier, piano, and Edward Murray, organ. Music Director Stephen Grimm will conduct.
