It’s a chamber music Birthday Bash from the safety of your living room!

This intimate evening gets “up close and personal” with our principal symphony musicians, including concertmaster Jessica Guideri, principal cellist Trevor Handy, principal trumpet Jon Lewis, clarinetist Juan Gallegos, and other celebrated Symphony musicians. These symphony Allstars will play alongside guest performers, including pianist Robert Koenig (Chair, UCSB Department of Music), soprano soloist Julia Metzler, an alumna of the Music Academy of the West and also an Opera Santa Barbara Chrisman Studio Artist.

Join Maestro Nir Kabaretti as he weaves together a way for home audiences to experience musical chemistry in a chamber music program of beloved and new adaptations of Beethoven’s music, presented in unaccompanied solos and together in duos, trios, and quartets. The performers share their personal reflections about Beethoven — his music and legacy — in the context of our time.
